Sceniva AI – Privacy Policy

Sceniva AI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, how long we retain it, and with whom we share it when you use Sceniva AI and related services.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
- Name, email address, authentication identifiers, and profile details you provide.
- Profile photos you upload.
AI chat and voice information
- Messages you type into AI chat.
- Conversation context needed to produce a response.
- Voice recordings and related audio/transcription data when you use the voice assistant.
Photos, images, and face data
- Photos you capture or upload for scene generation, image editing, image analysis, or profile features.
- These photos may contain your face or facial features ("face data").
- We do not use face data for identity verification, biometric identification, face recognition, or the creation of biometric templates.
Subscription and transaction information
- Subscription status, entitlement information, purchase dates, renewal status, and product identifiers provided through RevenueCat and Apple.
Technical and analytics information
- Device information, operating system, app version, crash diagnostics, and basic usage events.
- Analytics and product usage data collected through integrated service providers.
2. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you create an account, upload photos, type messages, record audio, or purchase a subscription.
- Automatically from your device and app usage through analytics, subscription, authentication, and storage providers.
- From third-party service providers that support app functionality, including authentication, subscriptions, storage, analytics, and AI processing.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide AI chat, voice assistant, item analysis, image generation, and scene generation features.
- To store and display profile information and user-uploaded profile images.
- To process subscriptions, restores, billing state, and access entitlements.
- To improve app reliability, performance, security, support, and fraud prevention.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
4. Third-Party AI Processing
Certain features require sending user content to trusted third-party AI providers to perform the requested processing. We always request in-app consent before sending any personal data (including photos that may contain face data) to these providers.
- OpenAI: receives typed messages, voice inputs, text prompts, and uploaded images used for AI chat, voice responses, image generation, and image analysis. OpenAI processes this information to provide the requested AI output. OpenAI privacy details: OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- Google Gemini / Google AI services (Imagen): receives the photo you select for scene generation (which may contain face data) along with the selected scene prompt to create the requested generated image. We send this photo only after you explicitly consent. Google privacy details: Google Privacy Policy.
5. Photos and Face Data
If you use scene generation, image analysis, or image editing features, we will collect the photo you select or capture in the app. This photo may include your face or other facial features ("face data"). We use the photo only to perform the specific processing you requested (for example, to generate a scene, perform an edit, or analyze the image). We do not use face data for identification, identity verification, biometric template creation, or facial recognition.
Before any photo is uploaded to a third-party AI provider for processing, we present an in-app consent dialog that explains what data will be sent, which provider will receive it, and for what purpose. You can decline at any time; if you decline, the image will not be uploaded for third-party processing.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as needed for the following purposes:
- OpenAI for AI chat, voice, image generation, and image analysis processing.
- Google Gemini / Google AI services for scene generation processing.
- Firebase for authentication, cloud storage, database support, and infrastructure services. Firebase privacy details: Firebase Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat and Apple for subscription validation, entitlement management, and purchase restoration.
- Analytics and diagnostics providers such as Mixpanel, Microsoft Clarity, and advertising/measurement providers used by the app to understand app usage and improve reliability.
- Government authorities or other third parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
7. Storage and Retention
- Chat inputs and prompts: retained as needed to provide the feature, maintain conversation context, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.
- Voice recordings: local temporary audio files may remain on your device until removed or overwritten by the app or operating system.
- Scene generation photos and face data: uploaded to the selected AI provider only with your explicit consent and processed for the requested generation flow. We do not use face data for identification. Temporary copies of photos or transient processing logs on our side (for debugging or troubleshooting) will be retained only as long as necessary — typically no longer than 30 days — unless required to satisfy legal obligations. Third-party providers (OpenAI/Google) may retain data according to their own policies; links to those policies are provided above.
- Generated image files: may remain temporarily in app or device storage until deleted by you, cleared by the app, or removed by the operating system.
- Profile photos: if you upload a profile image, it may be stored in Firebase Storage until you replace it, delete it, or delete your account.
- Subscription data: retained while needed to maintain premium access, financial records, customer support, fraud prevention, and compliance requirements.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including authentication controls, vendor-managed infrastructure protections, and access limitations. No system is completely secure, so please avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive personal information in prompts or uploads.
9. Your Choices
- You can choose whether to use AI features that require sending data to third-party AI providers.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
- You can request account deletion or contact us for privacy questions at support@sceniva.ai.
10. Children’s Privacy
Sceniva AI is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required in the relevant jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice in the app or through other appropriate means.
